Welcome to Prometheus Music, LLC

We’ve published filk — the folk music of science-fiction fans — since 1997.

It’s a really small niche. But even within our tiny niche, we’ve always tried to do things a little differently:

• We publish songs that tell stories. It’s not a coincidence that many of the songwriters and performers we work with are also professional science-fiction authors. 
• We try to stretch the technical boundaries of filk, and aspire to make projects that stand the test of time. We aim to make harder and riskier projects. 
• We sweat the details. We may be hobbyists, but we’re still obsessive perfectionists at what we do.
